Role overview
- The Business Development Manager role is a strategic position responsible for identifying and delivering new customers in line with the company’s target growth areas, in Retailers, Brands, Convenience Retailers and Services
- The role will require you to deliver innovative customer solutions, develop a customer acquisition strategy through a qualified new customer pipeline and to deliver new business growth through custom mixed materials in all sectors
- Key responsibilities will include achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, building relationships, and understanding all market trends to promote growth and develop a value proposition for target customers
Key skills & experience
- Experience of selling merchandising solutions to the Retailers, Brands & Convenience Retail sectors
- Proven track record of new business delivery and account growth in a challenging environment
- Demonstrable evidence of developing strong and robust relationships with multi contact points within a customer
- Understanding of the customer decision making process and the ability to articulate a value proposition to increase growth/new business wins
- Knowledge of business development principles and their implementation within the Retail, Brands, Convenience, and Services sectors
- Strong presentation and communication skills that can be clearly evidenced and articulated
